What Does Your Favorite Thanksgiving Food Say About You?

We all know there's one special food you're extra excited about eating at Thanksgiving. Whether it's grandma's pie or your aunt's casserole, your favorite Thanksgiving delicacy reveals a little something about you.

Cranberry Sauce

If you like it out of the can, still in a perfect circle, you might be a little OCD. But if you're one of those people who can't stand to have it in the can shape because it freaks you out, you're probably also one of those people who can't have their food touching. If you prefer the homemade variety, you're eager to please and love surprises, maybe adding in some nuts for a little extra crunch. Cranberry sauce lovers are very sweet and enjoy the festiveness that comes with holidays. If you don't like cranberry sauce, you're pretty normal because half of America doesn't like it either.

Stuffing

You're a home body and probably helped cook Thanksgiving dinner. Gotta love that comfort food.

Sweet Potato Casserole

You like sugar. A lot. You're probably an extrovert.

Green Bean Casserole

You're the quirky one in the family. Quirky and lovable.

Rolls

You're an athlete on a mission to carbo load before the family Thanksgiving football game. You're competitive and there's no rules when fighting over the last roll. You love family and are extremely loyal.

Salad

Really? Salad? That's your favorite part of Thanksgiving? Are you on a diet or something? I mean, you do you.

Apple Pie

You love 'Merica and use the American flag emoji on a regular basis.

Gravy

You were most likely one of those kids that drowned all their food in ketchup before consenting to eat. I'm not even sure if gravy counts as a real food. You know how to spice up life and can make everyone laugh.

And last but not least...

TURKEY

You're classic and have a love for tradition. I mean, the only excuse not to love turkey is if you're a vegetarian.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Bucket List To Live In The Now

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
