Just a few important, yet simple things all fast food employees want you to know.

1. Have your money ready at the drive thru.

This is not asking much, just please do it.

2. Don't complain when your fries aren't crispy enough.

(??????????)

3. Order a drink carrier when you order your food.

NOT at the window. (This just makes things move smoother).

4. Don't be mad at us when your card declines and you have to use a different method of payment.

Not our fault.

5. Don't complain to or argue with employees about restaurant policies.

Also not our fault, and nothing we can do to change it, so you're really wasting time.

6. If we accidentally get your order wrong, we aren't targeting you.

We serve thousands a day and make mistakes.

7. Don't be angry when you're trying to use an expired coupon.

(?????????????????)

8. Just because we work in fast food does not mean we don't attend school or have real ambitions.

(Really!!)

9. Don't get mad at us because the prices are the way they are.

10. If employees are supposed to make your drinks before you sit down (Chick Fil A), PLEASE WAIT TO GET THEM BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN.

Employees have to do other things and don't have time to hunt you down to deliver your drinks.

11. BE KIND.

Employees can be having a great day and it can really ruin their joy when someone is hateful. Always treat people with kindness even if you're having a rough day or if a mistake is made.

Keep these things in mind when visiting your next fast food restaurant!! I love my job, regardless of the bad rep working in fast food has.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
