Now that October has begun, you’ve probably been thinking about what you plan on being for Halloween. Whether you’re dressing with a group or going by yourself, it's important to know what costumes are relevant right now. That being said, here are all the good (and bad) costume ideas for this Halloween.

New But Expected:

1. "Stranger Things”

With the Netflix-original becoming a worldwide phenomenon, there is bond to be recreations of the show’s characters at every party you go to. Be on the lookout for Elevens and Barbs, and if you find anyone that can portray the other character well, since they all basically wear the same thing, congratulate them.

2. “Suicide Squad”

Even though the movie was awful, the costumes will definitely be in attendance this Halloween. I’m expecting to see multiple Harley Quinns, and possibly a Joker or a Deadshot.

3. Ken Bone

Check out this handsome boy! After the second debate, the internet fell in love with Kenneth Bone, and the famous red sweater he wore sold out in minutes, so I expect to see most of them this Halloween.

4. "Star Wars”

With “The Force Awakens” out last year, ‘Rogue One” coming out in two months, and “Star Wars 8” coming out next year, I expect to see a few Star Wars fans put together some really awesome outfits this Halloween. There better at least be some Reys, Finns and Poes. I also demand to see babies in Darth Vader outfits.

5. “Overwatch”

If you can recreate one of these characters, and do it well, I applaud you. The characters of “Overwatch” are a very diverse group with very specific outfits, to props to you if you can pull it off.

The Classics:

6. Zombies

Especially with “The Walking Dead” still pulling in huge viewers, and with so many other zombie plays, movies, and TV shows, the zombie crew is definitely one you’ll see this year. If you got a good makeup artist (like I did in this picture) then it’s a pretty easy and fun costume to have.

7. “Game of Thrones”

Being my (and many others) favorite show, Game of Thrones is going to have it’s 6th year of causing people to dress as their beloved medieval characters. I get excited whenever I see Daenerys Targaryen in attendance, but I hope to also see some Cerseis, Tyrions, and maybe some Aryas or Jon Snows.

8. “Orange Is The New Black”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a group of girls dress as the OITNB crew. There’s always been a Piper, Crazy Eyes, Pennsatuckey, Vause and Red. But let’s see if we can get some other characters to appear this year, like Nicky, Taystee or Flaca.

8. Marvel characters

I better see some babies in Captain America or Iron Man costumes. I personally have been Thor multiple times, and it’s pretty easy do put together. Extra points if you portray a Netflix character and do it well.

9. Mad Hatter

Even though “Alice Through The Looking Glass” didn’t do as well as people thought it would, I always see at least one Mad Hatter costume. If done well, they're really cool.

PLEASE DON’T BE:

10. Harambe

Just like the gorilla, the joke is dead. Please don’t wear a gorilla outfit. Everyone will find you annoying.

11. Miley Cyrus at the VMAs

Get with times people! This was super funny like three years ago but not anymore.

12. Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton

Please don’t. A Trump mask might have been barely funny last year but by this point it’s just going to cause an awkward political conversation.

13. Pepe

Apparently he’s a hate symbol now? But that’s not the only reason not the wear that costume! He’s also super not funny!

14. Horse Masks

Because they’re not funny.

15. Clowns

For everyone’s sake, and especially yours, don’t wear a clown costume. You’ll 100 percent get beat up.

Good luck!!!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
