What Do I Want To Do After I Graduate?

I have a few ideas on what I want to do after I graduate such as finding the right place to live, finding a nice job, and traveling. I love Michigan, but it may not be the place in which I would like to spend the rest of my life. It has been said that you can experience all four seasons during one day in Michigan and I have experienced this a few times, but it may be time for a change in scenery.

There are a few places that I have traveled to where I could see myself living like, somewhere in Canada, Seattle, Colorado or Upstate New York. If you haven’t noticed by now from the places that I have given, I love the cold and I love the outdoors. Fall is my favorite season and I love fall sports. Postseason baseball, football, and hockey are the heart of my love for the season because I am so sports-oriented. Being able to rake up the leaves and make giant snow forts with my future kids won’t be able to happen if I move to Arizona, or Texas because they are too hot and dry. I am a huge family man and can’t wait to start a family once I get my life all figured out first with a job and a home.

I believe I know what I would like to career wise after I graduate and that would be an Account Director. This job pays well, and for the right company, I can get some great benefits. Being an Account Director, you have to be able to make sure that the client is happy with the business, manage accounts for the client, and lead a large group of people. The job oversees the Account Manager, the Account Executive, and then a large group of people that work on the sales floor. I believe that I would be great at this job because you have to be a people person in which I am, you have to be street smart when it comes to customer relations with the client, and you have to be nice in which I know I am.

The place that I have been in my life, I can thank my family for taking me. I have been to Europe, Canada, Mexico, and a lot of places in the US. Once I am financially stable, i would like to go back to Europe like Italy, Spain, and Austria. I also would like to go to New Zealand so I can walk to Mordor. Visiting the far east just once to see what their culture is like out there would be very cool too and would be crosse off my bucket list.

As you can see, I have a lot of plans for myself after I graduate and know that If I really put my mind to it, I can achieve it. I love to travel and explore new places, I would like to find a job in either Seattle, Up-state New York, somewhere in Canada, or Colorado. these places all fit my criteria in different ways and would help me live a great life after I graduate.

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

In the 12 years since it went off the air, "Friends" continues to be adored by millions. 11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
