The semester has come to an end and final grades are rolling in. Some react with pride and a sense of accomplishment. Some are disappointed and wish they could have done a little bit better. Others are relieved to have past their toughest class.
There's a wide range of emotions, but what's important to remember is that your GPA does not define you. Your character and personality do.
Do you stop to help others, or do you walk by and think to yourself that someone else will help or that they aren't your problem?
Do your actions reflect what is right, or do they reflect what is popular, even though it may be wrong?
Do you have an optimistic outlook on life, or is your mind flooded with negativity?
Are you constantly trying to better yourself, or do you spend the vast majority of your time trying to fit in?
Do you keep an open mind, or do you judge others for having opinions that differ from yours?
Are you honest with yourself and others, or are you deceitful?
Are you responsible, or are you someone others cannot count on to do their part?
These are the things that matter. These are what people notice. So, if you think your GPA is what defines you, think again.
