What could've been

Is it offensive when i share my flaws,

Or even when I simply follow the laws.

To the world, were nothing but a waste of time,

But remember who changes the mind.

Years ago blacks were a threat to the whites,

No was never an option unless there was a fight.

What could’ve been the world today?

If we said no to the other way.

Blacks would have ruled the motherland,

Instead of whites taking to the core of sand,

Knowledge is power, and humility is key,

What could’ve been is always plea.

But it’s okay because we’ll just bow on one knee,

And simply walk out the door with a degree.

Dominating the career fields one by one,

Passing it down to our sons.
