With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I figured it was the right time to tell you what I am thankful for. I can't make any promises that I won't get all mushy.

1. My Family

Without my family supporting me, giving me tough love, and just being there for me I wouldn't be where I am today. I have such a great support system, that when I let them down, it breaks my heart. My mom has been there for me during every chorus concert in high school to my pledging ceremony in Phi Mu. Even on the weekends when I beg her to come up, she does. My father has always been my number one supporter. From me doing ballet on the soccer field to me getting my first goal. And even now, sitting in college two and half hours away, I know he is supporting me with all that he's got. My sister: I don't have the words to describe how thankful I am to have her in my life. I would of had three of her but God knew one was enough to keep me sane. She has been my right hand man, my lifeline, and my lifelong best friend. I am truly thankful for my family.

2. My Sisters in Phi Mu.

Goodness, where do I even start? You guys have taken me out of my introverted bubble, popped it, and here I am. I don't think I could have had a better support system throughout these four years of school. I have met my best friends (all of you), my bridesmaids (sorry not all of you), and just plainly people who have supported me from bid day. I am thankful for each and every one of you and proud to call you all my sisters.

3. My Friends

From the people I played sports with to the people I practically grew up with. I love each and every one of you even if I don't say it enough. Y'all have been there for me to make me laugh when I have had rough days to even just plopping on the couch with me after school to watch trashy MTV. All the moments that we have shared will remain with me wherever I end up. I am thankful to have such great friends.

4. My School.

Queens has been an experience to say the least. You have given me experiences, my friends, and moments I will never forget. It has been a wild ride these past four years but I wouldn't change it for anything. We have been through every low and almost every high college has to offer but we are still standing. I am thankful to have such a school that gives me amazing experiences and lets me achieve my dreams.

There are so many other things I could be thankful for, but these are definitely the top few. Thanksgiving has always been a time to give thanks and be thankful for what you have. So make sure you hug your mom, dad, siblings, pet, best friend, or your computer. Whatever you are thankful for, because without it, you wouldn't be where you are today.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
