How many times have you been asked to go to lunch or to grab a coffee with a friend? Often, when you think of home, you think of the food that you lived on; your favorite Sunday morning bagel, your favorite midnight snack run with friends or a restaurant where you and your family shared many memorable meals together. Growing up in a world where everyday life revolves around where and when you are going to eat next, Westchester's array of cute and tasty places is such a treat.

1. JV Bagels

Whether this is your favorite Sunday morning breakfast or a favorite meeting spot before going on any road trip you have eaten these bagels your whole life. These bagels satisfy everyone so it's easy to say they are your favorite.

2. Rocky's Deli

The go-to midnight snack run for sure. The amount of times you have heard "Rocky's run" on those late night weekends with your best friends is uncountable. The famous hashtag is sure to hit the spot with bacon, egg, cheese, hash browns, and chicken cutlet. As my friend, Sabrina, says "Rocky's is a magical place".

3. Bliss

Bliss in Mahopac is a definite must. If you have never tried the boss wrap you are truly missing out. A wrap filled with penne ala vodka pasta, chicken cutlet and mozzarella what could get better; I crave this daily.

4. Little Crepe St

When this crepe shop opened up it was and still is a go-to place for cute dates or just delicious lunch or dessert. Whether you went to Mt. Kisco or Pleasantville to enjoy it, you were always satisfied with the taste and the pictures you took of your food.

5. Nonna's

You have had an amazing amount of Nonna's pizza delivered to your house. Sleepovers, parties, or even just dinner. Nonna's pizza was a contact in your phone that you used maybe a little too much. Who couldn't love their specialty pizzas, though?

6. King Kone

The cutest little ice cream shop with the longest line in the area. The lines were worth it though because nothing is better on a hot summer night than King Cone. with all the outdoor seating it was a great place to meet friends and even if you didn't plan on meeting anyone, you would probably see someone you know.

7. Wild Fusion

The best sushi around without a doubt. The atmosphere and food made it a favorite restaurant for many families. Also, the presentation of all your sushi rolls is always a pleasant surprise each time.

8. Peekskill Coffee House

The first time you walk into the coffee shop you will be very surprised by the different atmosphere than your usual Starbucks. Often there is live music playing or you will see people playing board games with friends. Not to mention their coffee, teas, and food are all very tasty.

9. Countryside Kitchen

Holy Cannoli! The best pancake spot to hit your craving. From the Oreo pancakes to the M&M cookie dough, to the famous Holy Cannoli pancake; always delicious. You learned that you have to wake up at the break of dawn to get a table there, but it was always an adventure. Even though almost always after you ate there you had to sleep all day because you were so full.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
