The time is nearing when the nation is going to pick our new leader. This election campaign has had so much strife and chaos in it. So much hate has been spewing from both sides of the election.

I know that some mudslinging is normal in politics but this time around has just been ridiculous. Fights have started everywhere. The debates and campaign locations have turned more into s waiting game of who is going to throw the first punch in the crowd then listening to the speaker.

Prejudices have been brought to the surface with a furious passion. Leaving a lot of Americans wondering what is going to become of our beloved nation, no matter which of the two wins on Tuesday.

The day that our big decision is upon us is nigh and that frightens me. We have no clue what to expect from whoever becomes our new "leader". I use that term lightly because a lot of people don't want to follow either of them.

All we can do is just pray and try to make it through the next four years with some semblance of sanity left. And hope that whatever happens can be undone if it has to be.
