Just recently, one of my favorite wellness websites has gained the recognition it deserves. Fast Company, the world’s top business media brand, recognized Well + Good as one of the most innovative wellness companies of 2018, and for good reason! The team approaches the realm of wellness and healthy living while remaining authentic and creative at the same time, something that not a lot of health and wellness websites can achieve. The female founders of this leading wellness website have developed what is now a forceful team of genuine women empowering their followers. They stress the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship with our minds and bodies through content that you can't find anywhere else.

As a writer, I use Well + Good as a source of inspiration because of the original content that is produced there. The articles motivate me not only as a writer and content creator but also as a human pursuing a life that IS “well and good.” We often forget how to preserve our well being, especially when society is continuously telling us what we “should” and “shouldn’t” be doing. With the content it provides, Well + Good reminds us how exactly we can come to peace with who we are by doing good to our minds and bodies.

In a 2017 interview with Forbes, the founders of Well + Good, Alexia Brue and Melisse Gelula, were asked their inspiration behind starting the website. They stated that, “People needed wellness demystified so it was relatable and understandable, without being dumbed down or made silly or ideological like ‘tips for melting fat’ or ‘countdown to a bikini body.’ We know how busy our reader is so we give her tips and hacks from experts to make healthy living choices understandable and easier.” In addition, to show you just how authentic and genuine these women truly are, they expressed that “Wellness is a personal, intimate and joyful part of people’s lives and it’s fulfilling to be part of that.”

With their unique articles, retreats, and panel discussions, Well + Good aims to change the way that people live their lives for the better, in a way that no other website can quite do. Some of their recent articles include "Why Naomi Watts treats her skin-care regimen like a workout" and "How Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are joining forces to talk about mental health."

I found that coming across this website has been completely refreshing and uplifting and I would recommend it to anyone pursuing self-love and care. That being said, do yourself a favor and follow Well + Good on social media. You’ll receive that daily dose of goodness in your life that we all want, need, and deserve!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
