How I cannot wait to see you soon,

to see all the glories you bring for me to embrace,

to see all things that I will be able to do,

to continue on this journey of mine,

to be able to smile some more with time.

Oh how beautiful it will be to hear all those cheers

seconds before you arrive again,

to celebrate a new as though I never did it before,

with the people I hold dear and true in this world.

It feels like I have been doing this for a while,

and every single time it brings a smile,

to stay up all night before I get to say,

I wish everyone a wonderful and Happy New Year.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year filled with love, health, strength, and prosperity. As we go into the new year, we need to remember that we are given another chance to do the things we have never done before. This is the chance to experience something new, to work towards our goals, and a chance to do something different. Yes it is understood that if you want to change you can do it anytime, but a new year gives you more motivation to pull through.

So with that being said, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone, and make the best of 2017.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
