Mother Nature decided to bless Endicott College with a sunny spring day this past Friday. As the snow melted away, I was reminded of how truly beautiful this campus is. So, I took a walk down to the beach to breath in some fresh ocean air. I reflected on how blessed I am to be attending college and to appreciate all that has gotten me here. I decided last Friday to dedicate the day to positivity. Here are some things that brought me happiness.
Go for a Walk
Be open and mindful of the beauty surrounding you. Walks are perfect to clear your mind and focus on nature.
Sit by the Ocean
There's something magical in the ocean breeze. Just sit and breath.
Visit a Chapel
Whether you go to a church, a temple, a synagogue, or a mosque, enjoy the spiritual environment. It will bring you inner-peace.
Work Outside
Rather than completing homework inside, take it outside. Find a sunny spot and enjoy some vitamin D.
People-Watch
Watching others smile and enjoy their day will bring you happiness.
Listen to Music
Find some new music or listen to your favorite classics. Sing along and enjoy it.
Smile
Just smile. Remind yourself of all the positivity in your life and reflect on your favorite memories.
Friday was a fantastic day and I promised myself to do more that makes me happy. Let’s leave the “Winter Blues” in February and dedicate March to happiness.
