I know watching summer quickly disappear is difficult — but it’s also a little bittersweet, because though long, sunny days of eating ice cream and going for dips in the pool are pure bliss, I’m pretty close to certain that fall is the best season to ever exist. Want me to prove it? Mmmmm… OK.

I've picked 8 definitive reasons why fall is absolutely the best season of them all, but that’s really only the tip of the iceberg — the cream of the crop, if you will. These are your big ticket items for standing behind this lovely fall season and embracing it for all that it is. Before you know it, the snow will be falling and the winter will be taking over, so take advantage of autumn before it’s long gone. When something only comes once a year, and it’s crunched between summer and winter, you know it’s something special.

1) Friday Night Lights

If you're anything like me, you wait anxiously for Friday nights, all for football. These special nights are made for hot chocolate, blankets and football. Fall also marks the arrival of the NFL's takeover of the Television every Sunday.

2) The weather is the best!

It doesn't have you sweating like a pig, (Sorry, summer but you know it's true). Most days you have a calm breeze, and beautiful leaves to brighten your day.

2) The return of the PSL

Everyone waits anxiously for the return of the PSL. It's the ride or die drink of fall, every year. WIthout it, would fall be the same?

3) The leaves make even the worst days better.

Reds, yellows, greens, oranges, whatever the color, it always manages to brighten your day! It's basically the most magical process of nature to ever occur!

4) Halloween and Thanksgiving arrive!

The months and months of planning summed into two days. They are probably in the top three best holidays, i mean, one involves eating tons of candy. The other involves eating a pound of turkey. Let's just think about that for a second...

5) Fall fashion is at its best

Once fall makes itself known, the sweaters come out! Sweater weather for day..and the boots. Ahh the boots.

6) Corn mazes is a nightly thing

Everyone knows they love a good corn maze, weather it's haunted, or not, it's the tradition of fall. Nothing is better than a good scare with a hot hot hot chocolate.

7) Fall series, and season premieres arrive

The long awaited return of Pretty Little Liars, or Grey's Anatomy has you on the edge of your seat for months until they arrive. You see, there is a reason why they choose fall to return...it makes it even better!

8) Did I mention Pumpkin?

More, and more pumpkin spice! Also, who doesn't love a good pumpkin patch? A night of carving, painting or just arranging pumpkins is always a fall must...all while drinking yet another, PSL.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
