Disney’s Newest Princess Crowned

On August 11^th 2016, Disney’s Magic Kingdom was all set for the arrival of new royalty, as Princess Elena of Avalor was welcomed as the newest Princess in the Disney family. Elena of Avalor is Disney Channel’s newest show that debuted on July 22nd. In the show Elena is taking over her kingdom and is learning how to be a leader.

Her Crowning took place at 10:45 am and was streamed live on the Disney Parks blog and on Facebook. She was welcomed to the kingdom by Cinderella and Prince Charming. With her now crowned the newest princess the sky is the limit for new princesses. With Princess Moana due to debut this November, Disney can start to cover more ethnicities and maybe come out with the first lesbian princess. Disney Princesses can improve to be better role models for young women.
