I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Can you imagine the Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor creators just sitting around throwing different ingredients together to make a new flavor that everyone will love? Or even you just sitting in your kitchen taking random fruit or other ingredients and creating your own flavor that no one has ever heard of or even tasted before.

Here are some of the weirdest ice cream flavors in every state in the United States:

1. Alabama - Banana Walnut Pudding

Some people go bananas for this ice cream, but others go nuts over it!

2. Alaska - Gold Nugget

If you want to feel like you are "royalty" by eating something gold, then take a trip to Alaska to get this fancy ice cream!

3. Arizona - Prickly Pear

This ice cream might "prick" you into deciding to get it!

4. Arkansas - Baked Brie with Almond Ricotta Macaroons

This might be a little cheesy, but you will go nuts for this ice cream!

5. California - Candy Cap Mushroom

If you went in and ate this ice cream you would turn into a FUNGI!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
