Everyone has their weird little quirks, including weird food cravings. I asked some of my friends, as well as FaceBook what their favorite weird combos were and I think I have enough new food to last me for months. I compiled a list of over 100 weird and crazy food combinations and then sat down with a few of my friends who are the biggest food lovers I know to give you the top 50 weird food combinations.

Here is what we came up with, and I don't know whether to call these people gross or geniuses.

1. Doritos and cream cheese

Like queso and tortilla chips, but different.

2. Mashed Potatoes with M&M Sauce

3. Cheetos with Zax Sauce

Double the tomato, double the amazingness.

5. Uncooked pasta noodles

Crunchy and delicious.

6. Potato chip sandwich with hot sauce

All kinds of texture and all kinds of goodness.

7. Chicken Flavored Ramen with Bologna

This is the ultimate college student meal.

8. Tortilla Chips dipped in Sprite

A salty chip with a sweet drink like Sprite is pretty much genius.

9. Mashed Potatoes and Ranch

Ranch and potatoes are always a good idea.

10. Pintos and Mayo

Mayo is also always a great idea.

11. Peanut Butter, Banana, and Mayo Sandwich

Peanut Butter and banana sandwiches are always a great idea and mayo adds that ~extra~ flavor that any sandwich needs.

12. Black-eyed peas and Mayo

This is a personal favorite of mine. If you're an ~extra~ person like I am, then this is the side dish for you.

13. Doritos and Chocolate Milk

Not the pair I would first pick, but I will 100% eat this.

14. Potato chips dipped in pickle juice

Such a genius idea.

15. Cantaloupe with black pepper

Sweet and spicy and everything amazing.

16. Mayo and ketchup or mustard sandwich

My dad eats this and honestly, I don't know how because it's literally just bread and condiments but hey, whatever makes you happy.

17. Slim Jim's and Yoo-Hoo's

Fancy Slim Jim's.

18. Peanut Butter, Strawberry Jam with Bacon

All of these are perfect on their own, but if you put them together, you have a masterpiece.

19. Apple Jelly and egg sandwich

What a weird combination.

20. Oreos with chip dip

A very, very, very weird combo of sweet and salty.

21. Pepperoni with Honey Mustard

Heavenly.

22. Mayo with beef stew

I don't know how this is good but to each their own.

23. Chili with Chocolate chips

Chili and chocolate are my two favorites, so why not put them together?!

24. Pineapple and Mayo sandwich

One of the BEST summer snacks.

25. Gravy and biscuits with tomatoes

This is seriously so good.

26. Cheese dipped in syrup

Everything is good with some pancake syrup on top, right?!

27. Fritos Corn Chips dipped in banana baby food

I just don't get this one, but again, to each their own.

28. Spinach and Artichoke dip on a hamburger.

This sounds amazing, oh my stars.

29. Cornbread with mayo, mixed with pintos and collard greens

This is the epitome of southern home-cooking.

30. Fries and Mayo

Potato salad, but in a different form.

31. Goldfish and Cream Cheese

This sounds like another college student snack.

32. Popcorn and Dill Pickles

The ULTIMATE movie snack.

33. Chocolate Chip Cookies dipped in Sunkist

Like a chocolate covered orange, right?!

34. Cinnamon Twists from Taco Bell dipped in their cheese sauce

This is something I would eat while I'm up doing homework at 2 A.M., and I'm not against it.

35. Green Beans and Miracle Whip

I'm down to try it.

36. Fried Okra with Cream corn on top

Southern genius.

37. Popcorn dipped in milk

I don't know how this would work but it sounds like popcorn cereal.

38. Peanut Butter and mayo sandwich

This sounds like something my dad would eat.

39. Watermelon on canned biscuits

Is this a watermelon sandwich?!

40. Ketchup on pinto beans

Pinto beans are great on anything, with anything.

41. Bologna and Peanut Butter Sandwiches

Sounds like another thing my dad would eat.

42. Pizza and Mayo

MAYO IS THE NEW RANCH, DON'T @ ME!!

43. Peanut Butter and Marshmellow Cream Sandwiches

It's like a dessert sandwich.

44. Doritos in Taco Bell Cheese Sauce

Double cheese is always a great idea.

45. Eggs and Ketchup

My favorite breakfast food ever.

46. Green bean juice and Jack's biscuit

The biscuit is like a sponge.

47. Chocolate cake and tomatoes

Tomatoes are also great with anything.

48. Pickles with Chocolate Ice Cream

This is amazingly amazing.

49. Doritos in French Onion Dip

A birthday party classic.

50. Birthday Cake Icing and French Onion dip on a Ruffle chip

A birthday party on a chip.

I don't how some of these work but they're good and who doesn't love some weird food?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
