No matter where you come from, Christmas is one of the warmest and weirdest holidays around. Every family seems to take the jolly day and put their own fun twist on it. I know in my family, we eat potato salad on Christmas eve, and the person reading the Christmas story always reads it in a funny voice or accent. I wanted to see what everybody else did, so here are the answers from 15 people on what their weird Christmas Traditions are…
1. “My dad sets up a camera at the bottom of the stairs and will video tape the entire Christmas morning. We still do this. And we’re not allowed to get out of bed until he gives us the go-ahead.”

With auditions, rehearsals, costume fittings, and everything! Sometimes it's a Nativity-themed play, sometimes it's like a cheese-y hallmark movie, and once we even did A Christmas Carol! We invite friends and extended family over to watch and at the end hand out plastic "Oscar" awards to the funniest/most dramatic/most encouraging/most helpful "actors". It's always been a real hoot, but it wasn't until I was older that I realized other families didn't do this. It's just my family that's extra."
