1. Spray cheese

I know people who actually love this stuff as gross as that sounds. I'm not a fan, though.

2. Deep frying everything

No one else has ever looked at an Oreo and thought, "This would be so much better if it were deep-fried." But Americans, we just know that everything is better deep-fried.

3. Pop Tarts

I absolutely love cinnamon brown sugar Pop Tarts but I could definitely see how they don't really make sense to other people. It's processed sugar on top of more processed sugar. But you know.

4. Root beer floats

Mixing ice cream in soda, what could be weird about that?

5. Meatloaf

Understandable. Ground meat shaped into a loaf doesn't sound great but my mom actually makes amazing meatloaf.

6. Corn dogs

Again with the deep frying everything but I love corn dogs.

7. Hawaiian pizza

Pineapple should not be on pizza. End of story.

8. String cheese

To other people, this just isn't real cheese. And why do we feel the need to pull it in strings?

9. Sweet potato casserole

My favorite part about Thanksgiving. Yet, this does seem like an excuse to cover vegetables in sugar.

10. Ice water obsession

I guess it's an American thing to enjoy a refreshing ice cold water. Especially if it's hot outside, I don't want warm tap water.
