There's so many pins and so little time

Best Things For Weddings On Pinterest

So I've wrote an article about some of the things that people don't tell you about planning a wedding, usually the negative things. However, there is one resource for Brides that every single one of us should bow down to, you guessed it. Pinterest. Who needs a Maid of Honor when you have every brides best friend. ANYTHING YOU CAN EVER IMAGE. Write at the tips of your finger tips.

1. Creative things in the best way. Just look at this cake topper. Will ya' just look at it?!

2. Look at this photo-op! I don't know who does this stuff, but if they want to come and take over my wedding day, I'm totally cool with it.

3. THIS. A dessert bar at it's absolute best. Doughnuts for dayyyyyyys.

4. If I were to walk down this aisle I would literally think I was in a dream. This picture looks like such a dream. Simple goes a long way.

5. I don't care who you are, if you have pets, I can bet its crossed your mind to have them involved in some way in your big day. Whether it's snapping a photo, or having a little ring bearer. All I can say is if my dog didn't act like a wild animal around new people in new places, she'd be my Maid of Honor.

6. Creative ways to get your guests involved are always popping up. It seems like everyone tries to find a way to put their own spin on the guestbook. Pinterest is definitely the place to go for all sorts of different point of views on getting your guests to go along with the evening.

6. PICTURES. How. Does. Someone. Even. Do. This. On top of the fact that I would be scared shitless of catching my dress on fire, this is awesome. People manage to take the best pictures ever and post them. They make my selfie game look like a thirteen year old with a flip phone.

7. Graphs are the best. Whether its timelines, processional line ups, or planning tips. There are such an abundance of graphic organizers to piece out every aspect of planning/ enjoying your big day.

8. Then of course there are some things that you have no idea what they actually are, but you can't help but love. What is this? Is it at the entrance of the ceremony? Or reception? Whichever it may be, I want it.

9. The flowerrrrssssss. I could spend hours flipping through all of the bouquets. The different variations, colors, themes, methods. Who knew there were so many options! If you don't take a stack of Pinterest floral pictures to your florist for your appointment are you even doing it right?

10. Keepsakes. There is no person that doesn't want to remember one of the biggest days of their lives. Pinterest has a million different ways to do DIY keepsakes to make sure that you never forget one detail. From turning your wedding dress into lingerie, to freeze drying your bouquet for all the years to come. Whatever your needs, a shadow box and hot glue gun is likely to follow.

Whatever you may be looking for and whether your a DIY Bride or like me (buy everything off Etsy because your lazy) kind of Bride. You can find more inspiration than ever on Pinterest. They might as well call it "Database of Pushing You to Go Over Budget"=ist.

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
