We Suck at Football, A Texas State Story

Well, here we are, my first football season of college and we are last in our conference, and 127/128 of all college teams. Am I sad? Well, yeah, a little; who wouldn't be sad about this? However, there is a little glimmer of pride, as odd as that sounds, I am proud to say that we are last in our conference and are almost the worst team in the country.

I say that because it means that we at least are relevant. Imagine what it must be like for team 9 out of 20 or whatever. We may be in the public's eye for sucking at football, but at least we are in the public's eye. However, with Coach Withers being new to our team, we still have a lot of growing pains until we are the fantastic team that I know we can be.

So, yeah make fun of the Bobcats all you want, we may suck at football but we are still an amazing school and I couldn't be prouder to say, "I am a Bobcat, and we are horrible at football... But not for long."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
