We all hate the cold. Walking to class to have your face freeze off is just one of many the terrible things about the winter. Here are just a few reasons why we should all start to appreciate winter more than we do.
Canceled classes
Every so often we get lucky when our new favorite professor cancels class because they can’t commute from where they actually live.
Clumsy people thrive
Although it may be entertainment watching others constantly slip and fall on the ice, it’s a perfect excuse for clumsy people instead of tripping.
Cute winter dates
Who doesn’t love going ice skating, sledding, cuddling by a fire, or sipping hot chocolate with their special someone?
Driving short distances
If your class doesn’t get canceled and it’s freezing out, you probably won’t get judged for driving to class. ;)
Excuse not to go out
Whether you are skipping class or spending the night in, the cold weather is the perfect excuse to stay in and have a Netflix marathon.
Fuzzy socks
Enough said.
Lets not forget all the fun holidays!
Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, Chinese New Years, Valentine's Day, Groundhog Day, President's Day, Super Bowl Sunday.
More sleep
You can go to bed at 6 p.m. and not feel bad about yourself because it’s already dark out.
No bugs
We don’t have to worry about itching those bug bites after staying outside to long.
Sweater weather
Who doesn’t love wearing a big bulky sweater?
Time to get your beach bod ready
You have time to eat all the yummy winter treats, but don’t have to have your bikini bod ready until spring break! You got time!
Winter break
Almost a month off of school? Okay, I can use that break!
Remembering all these great things about winter could possibly make your winter a little less terrible than usual. Don't forget to bundle up in your big comfy sweater!
