Supernatural: We Have a GIF For That

An ode to the many posts that Supernatural has hijacked over the years.

If you've ever visited Tumblr, you've probably heard about the Supernatural fandom. If you haven't, then you have no idea what Supernatural is. To be honest, if you haven't been on Tumblr then you should probably cut your losses and just stay away (I'm not joking when I say that it is a site that can single-handedly take over your life to a greater degree than BuzzFeed or Facebook). But for those of you not familiar with Supernatural let me fill you in: it's a show about two brothers who go around hunting supernatural creatures that somehow manages to have a GIF for everything. And when I say everything, I literally mean EVERYTHING. So naturally this leads to countless hijacked posts on Tumblr that originally had no relation to Supernatural in the first place. Here are a few of my favorites.

1. When Sam just understands the Tumblr users mindset.

He pretty much has the entire "just fine" look down too.

2. When Chuck tells it like it is.

As we said before: call us and we will reply, most likely with a relevant GIF.

3. When Dean answered the important questions.

Obviously, this is the most pressing question when you are facing a powerful archangel the next day.

4. When Death understands true happiness.

Of course being the oldest being to ever exist helps Death keep his priorities straight.

5. When Sam gets sassy.

But then again, Sammy is always a little sassy.

6. When Dean just understood.

Actual Princess Dean: Exhibit A.

7. When Sam knew what it was like to turn 21 in America.

We've all been there.

8. When Fate explained the Fandoms plight.

Despite the fact that God is pretty much absent from the show.

9. When Cas was our biblical expert.

Thanks for that clarification Cas, I honestly did not know that.

10. When Dean rose to the challenge.

There are so many reference challenges for the Supernatural fandom, this is just one of my personal favorites.

11. When Cas appeared when he was summoned (in typical Cas fashion).

I relate to Cas' literal nature on a personal level.

12. When Dean was an actual Princess.

Actual Princess Dean: Exhibit B.

13. When Sam established his moose status.

We knew you had it in you, Sammy.

15. When Sam and Dean explained it all.

Yes, this is an actual scene in and honest-to-God show.

15. Finally, when we really did have a GIF that specific.

Originally the photo that started this all was an inflatable bed in the backseat of a car and that's all I have to say about that.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
