Thank you

Two words that just don't seem to be enough.

Thank you
Aida Diop

We did it! I walked across that stage at Bloomsburg University and it was like you were right there on the stage with me. I could feel how proud you were and that carried me through.I was nervous as could be and I blacked out as soon as I stepped up to the stage, but I thought of you and all my family watching from the bleachers. I knew everything would be okay. I knew because I've always known - you taught me that. Growing up, no matter how many times I fell, you were there to pick me up. You taught me working hard was a necessity in life, but working smart was just as helpful. You taught me it's better to get something done rather than wait till it's too late or last minute. You taught me to play tennis and soccer. To this day, I remember afternoons at the park or in the backyard. You taught me about agriculture and organic farming. You taught me to love and nurture nature. You've taught me so much, from driving to athletics to studying, I remember it all and I'm so thankful.

I appreciate you, Daddy. I've seen you work hard to provide for your entire family. You didn't just provide for me. You gave your everything for your siblings, your wife, your children, and God. You have faith in me even when I don't want to have faith in myself. Those late nights I struggled with chemistry, I'd think of you. I would think about you studying for years in Russia and Oregon and doing so well. You supplied the fuel to my fire when I needed it most. Throughout my life, I've seen you have that affect on many people. Encouraging others to be the best they can be has always been one of your virtues. The way you embrace people into your life has shown me to try to see the best in others. You have a light that shines from you that I hope I've inherited.

All that you are has helped shaped who I am and I'm so thankful. I'm not perfect, but you love me anyway. I couldn't imagine a more solid support than you. You are my foundation that keeps me strong and tall.

I graduated from Bloomsburg University, daddy. I played tennis and studied in California. I will begin my adult life and career soon. I couldn't have done any of it without. Thank you so much. I love you

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
