We all scream for ice cream! Right? Especially in this heat!
As the summer continues to heat up whip up some of the best homemade ice-cream. If you have never tried it before I hope that this can help you get started. Feel free to add different things to your homemade desserts. One of my favorite types of ice cream is homemade vanilla with peaches or cherries. You should give it a try. The Wilson Family Recipe: A small town family from Thomson, Georgia shares their secret to creating their famous homemade ice cream. Doesn't it look delicious? Do not forget to add fruit to add a little flavor.
2 cans of evaporated milk
1 can of condensed milk
3 egg
2 TBL of vanilla
1 cup of sugar
Milk
Fruit of your choice
***Mix all the ingredients, but the milk into the churn. Then add milk to feel the churn.

A can of eagle brand milk
A container of Cool Whip
Chocolate Milk
***Fill the churn up with milk.
The Embry Family Recipe: The Embry family from Alabama shares their recipe on how to make great homemade ice cream. Do not forget to add the crushed peppermints to your mix to give it that chilling effect.
1 can Pet milk
2 1/2 cups of sugar
1 TBSP of vanilla
4 eggs that are beaten up.
*** Mix all the ingredients together then add whole milk to the "fill line". Place in freezer with ice and rock salt and start for basic vanilla. To add a little flavor pop add crushed peppermint.
The I have nothing to make ice cream with Recipe: If you are bored at home, babysitting hyper kids, or having a sleepover this is the recipe for you. Who doesn't wanna do a little jig and make ice cream while doing it?! P.S. It is delicious!
You will need (3) plastic sandwich bags. 1 large and 2 small
1/2 cup of milk
1 1/2 TBSP of sugar
1/2 TSP of vanilla
Plenty of ice cubes
6 TBSP of salt (Yes, you can use regular salt)
***Put all the ingredients, BUT the salt into one of the small bags. Then place the small bag with the ingredients into the other small bag just in case the bag were to bust. Then place it into the big bag. Fill the big bag with ice cubes. Then sprinkle the salt onto the ice. Then SHAKE! This is your opportunity to dance like no one is watching. You must shake the bag for 10-15 minutes. At least until it becomes ice-cream!
