12 Ways You Know You're A Picture-Perfect Pisces Woman, And Proud Of It

It's Pisces season!

If your birthday falls between February 19 and March 20, you belong to the twelfth sign of the Zodiac. As a water sign, Pisces women tend to be creative, intuitive, and go with the flow. They are considered one of the most empathetic and dreamiest signs, and if you know a Pisces it's not hard to see why.

Here are 12 ways you definitely know you're a Pisces woman — besides just being amazing!

You're Drawn to the Water.

As a water sign, this totally makes sense. You love being near the water and gravitate towards it. It's where you feel most at home.

You're Seriously Empathetic.

Your empathetic nature allows you to understand what others are going through, making you a great friend. But be careful; take time for yourself to recharge.

You're an Escapist.

You daydream constantly, making up your own reality while you go about your life. When things are mundane, you liven it up with your dreams and imagination.

You Listen to Music Constantly.

A Pisces woman's ruling planet is Neptune, and Neptune is connected to music—because of this, you have a deep love of music and have a song for every mood.

You're a Total Romantic.

You're in love with love. You're all in when it comes to dating. You'll do whatever you can to show your significant other how much you care for them. Pisces women have a fairytale-view of romance and their love is unconditional.

You Need Freedom to Thrive.

Highly structured situations or work environments stifle your creative nature. You prefer more freedom so you can truly be yourself.

You're Forgiving.

You don't often hold grudges. You deal with the situation at hand but prefer to forgive instead of hold onto negative energies. However, if your trust is betrayed too many times, particularly in a romantic relationship, you walk away.

You Withdraw to Recharge.

Everyone needs time alone, but you need it a little more than others. Your empathetic and caring nature can exhaust you quickly, and you need time to yourself to recharge. When you spend time alone, you often like to do something artistic that gets you feeling like yourself again.

You're Sensitive.

Pisces women feel things deeply — a little too deeply, sometimes. While your sensitivity can be seen as one of your biggest strengths, it can also be seen as one of your biggest weaknesses. Sometimes you overreact and play the victim if your feelings are hurt. Remember, Pisces, no one likes a martyr.

You're a Dreamer.

You find inspiration in everything. You have an optimistic, dreamy outlook on life that allows you to see beauty everywhere and contributes to your escapist tendencies.

You're Adaptable.

Pisces women love to go with the flow. Whether it's adapting to a difficult and unexpected situation, or following your heart and traveling to new places, you'll fit in easily and feel right at home.

You Have a Big Heart.

People love having you in their lives. You're a devoted friend and partner, and you love to care for others. Your kind nature and thoughtfulness make you invaluable to your loved ones.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
