It’s not very fun for most of us, but we all know that summer is just months away because of this we are all counting down the days until warmer weather! Here are some different ways to make winter feel like summer.

Buy a cute summer outfit. The summer season always has the cutest clothing. Whether it is cute, flowy shirts or patterned maxi dresses, this season is the best for clothing. So during the cold weather when you are tired of wearing sweaters and snow boots, look up a cute outfit for summer and buy it! Especially when clearance is 60 to 70% off so you can save a lot of money as well. You can’t wait until you can post a picture with your new outfit.

Book a summer vacation. When you look out the window and its windy and snowing, sometimes you just think about the sunshine and warmth. So if you can afford it, book a summer vacation. This can range anywhere from going on a cruise to an exotic island or just to the beach a couple of hours away. Before you know it, you will be at a beach relaxing and soaking in the sunshine or on a cruise watching the ocean go by.

Work out more. Everyone wants to have the perfect body for in their swimsuit, so why not start now during the winter. If you gained a couple pounds because of all the Christmas cookies, this is the time to hit the gym and tone up your body. Plus, you can buy a cute bikini for all your efforts at the gym! So hit up your gym and see if they have some fun aerobics classes like Zumba or Cize. These can help you lose weight but having fun doing it.

Change up your hair. Your hair can get into a slump during these cold winter breaks. When your hair is always in a hat or in a messy bun, you can sometimes forget about it. So, go out and get that cute bob you have been dying to do or lighten up your hair color. You can also just grow out your hair and get products to make your hair healthier. People will definitely notice when they see your cute new hairdo.

Get your nails done. Almost every girl loves to get her nails done. It is even better when you can bring a friend with you and gossip. So, when you feel like a little pick-me-up, go get a manicure. If you are really feeling down get a pedicure as well. Then you won’t be able to wait to see what sandals go best with them.

These tips will definitely help you get out of the winter slump. They will have you thinking about the warmth while you see the snow falling around you. So bundle up and stay warm, you can make it through this winter. Here’s to only a couple months left of winter and to the best summer of your life!

And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
