The coronavirus has caused people to lose their jobs, making it hard to pay bills and purchase necessities. It has also made it harder for teenagers to get jobs and save money for college or to pay for their own necessities that their parents won't pay for. Here's some jobs that you can do if you are struggling to make money right now.

1. Instacart

Instacart is what I have currently been doing to make some extra money. You go grocery shopping for other people and deliver it to their house. You get paid from Instacart and tips on top of that. It's an extremely easy and quick way to make money.

2. Working at a grocery store

I've noticed that a lot of grocery stores are hiring at the moment. My friend just got a job at one and she said it pays well and has a flexible schedule. The only thing she personally does not like about it is having to be on her feet for 8 hours straight.

3. Doordash

Doordash is another option to make some easy money. You accept the order, go to the restaurant to pick up the food, and deliver it. It's as simple as that. Just like Instacart, you get paid from Doordash and you also receive tips.

4. Babysitting/Nannying

Some states are beginning to reopen and are allowing businesses to have their employees come back to work. These employees may need someone to watch their kids if daycares aren't open yet. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you don't like kids.

5. Uber

If you have your own car, consider becoming an Uber driver. It pays well and some people may prefer to take an Uber instead of a bus or train right now.

6. Create your own small business

Come up with an idea you are passionate about and sell it! There are tons of platforms out there to help you promote your idea or product. Plus, you would be your own boss and who wouldn't want that?

Get out there and start making money. There are endless options of what you can do.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
