7 Ways To Help Lebanon

In Lebanon, currently, the citizens face tragedy due to the currency collapsing, the economy crashing, political unrest, and, difficulties because of the pandemic. The people of Lebanon need help due to the government being ineffective in their ways to combat all of the aforementioned issues. Also, the most recent tragedy is the Beruit explosion. The explosion we saw displayed all across our feeds affected nearly 300,000 citizens, killed 70, and injured 4,000. However, the issue people are facing is the lack of resources and spaces in hospitals, which is causing the citizens to not receive the true help they need. I compiled some ways to help Lebanon, which I displayed in the list below.

The Lebanese Red Cross

Through the Lebanese Red Cross, first aid stations were set-up to help aid the citizens with noncritical injuries.

Lebanese Food Bank

The food bank provides those in need of food and supplies due to the explosion.

Impact Lebanon

Impact Lebanon is raising money for disaster relief.

Ahla Fawda

Ahla Fawda allows people to receive coupons and supplies to people who are in need across Lebanon.

Carrd.co.

Through this platform, there are lists of other local NGOs, sources and additional resources to help Lebanon.

Beit El Baraka

This non-profit organization helps the elderly receive housing, food and medical supplies.

Humanity and Inclusion

Humanity and Inclusion focuses on the physical therapy and rehab after surgeries or trauma, which helps aid those hurt during the Beirut explosion.

Even though I listed only 7 ways, there are still can be more ways to help,. For example, petitions or through doing further research to see what cause or organization you may want to donate to.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
