We all get in a slump, whether that's in life or in a creative writing assignment. It could happen to us all from time to time. Or, maybe more frequently. it could last a day or a few hours either way it can frustrating and annoying but it happens to all of us. But, I promise that if you try one or maybe all five of these tips, you will begin to feel inspired in all areas in your life. Now, there is no time wasted when you get in a rut next time. Go through Pinterest

Everyone always says to go through Pinterest, I know! But, it really helps. With millions of pins and hundreds of themes, there is a rare chance you won't find something to spark your interest.

Move to a different environment

Chances are you go to the same place to do your homework or write essays, so you have no inspiration. Don't worry, you can fix that by moving locations in your house, going to the local Starbucks, or traveling somewhere new.

Talk to your friends and family

Talking to your friends and family will help spark a memory or some ideas to help you accomplish your task.

Read anything

Whether that be a magazine, an article online, or a book, it might help you create a vision or give you ideas.

Go take a walk

In a world full of distractions, taking the time out of your day to go on a walk gives you quiet time to think about new ideas and you might see something that will spark some inspiration.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
