6 Ways To Tell If Your Boyfriend Really Loves You

Everyone thinks their boyfriend loves them the most and shows it in the best way. But, there are just a couple sure-fire ways to tell if he really does truly love you. It's one thing to be polite and occasionally go out of your way for someone, but does he do these things?

1. He brings you McDonald's sweet tea as a surprise

Or your drink of choice. Tea from McDonald's doesn't cost much and there's usually a McDonald's within 15 minutes of someone, so this doesn't seem like much. Just the fact that he does it continuously and without being asked, just because he knows you'll probably appreciate it is a sign he loves you.

2. He yells your name across campus

No matter how shy you are or how much you don't want that much attention called to you at once if he sees you across campus, he's going to yell for you. He will probably also yell "I love you!" across campus at you. He's got to let everyone know! If you really hated it he'd stop, but he knows you'll just blush and walk away.

3. He lets you listen to one song on repeat in the car for 2 hours

If your favorite artist comes out with a brand new song the day you happen to be going on a 2-hour car trip with him, someone who truly loves you would let you listen to it for the entirety of the ride. Bonus points if he doesn't even complain about it.

4. He gives you cute nicknames

I'm not talking about nicknames like "baby" or "sweetie." I mean if he tries so hard to come up with an endearing nickname for you and ends up just calling you jello cup because that's the only original name he could think of. At least you'll be guaranteed to be the only one with that nickname.

5. He takes fake candid pictures of you

Or he just suffers through pictures, in general. If you're the kind of person to retake a picture over and over until you look good in it, your boyfriend will be right there with you, maybe complaining, but taking the pictures with you, or of you, nonetheless.

6. He tries to surprise you

He's tried, on multiple occasions, to surprise you. Although he gets too excited and ruins the surprise by giving it away too early, it still means a lot and you appreciate the attempt.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
