I know I'm a little late to the bandwagon, but I finally got around to watching "Moana" with my sister. Oh my goodness, my only complaint is that I hadn't watched it sooner. There are so many great things about this movie, from the spectacular animation and scenery to the incredibly fun characters and the endearingly quirky soundtrack. It's a cheesy narrative told in a refreshingly new way, and I absolutely adore it.

One of my favorite things about the movie is Moana's oddball pet chicken, Heihei. For those of you who don't know Heihei, here's a nice compilation of his best moments.

Essentially, Heihei is a very simple chicken. He tries but oftentimes falls short of his intentions. By a lot. Such is life, however, and our beloved chicken's attempts at surviving are probably a lot like yours. Here are five moments in the movie when Heihei is practically another version of us all.

Disclaimer: This article contains spoilers for the movie "Moana."

1. He looks around and panics when he realizes he's in way over his head.

Come on. We've all done it. Maybe you got a plate full of food and realized halfway through that you couldn't finish it. Maybe you offered to do a favor for a friend and underestimated the complexity of the task. Maybe you let yourself get carried away by an idea, long before fully understanding just how much work had to go into it. Regardless, there's no way that you haven't at some point in your life started something and then later had doubts about your ability to cope with that something.

2. He stands confidently and pretends like he knows what he's doing.

Most of us have at some point found ourselves in a situation where there's a lot expected of us. Admitting you know nothing about the subject at hand was not an option. Therefore, you had to stand there, bluff your way through the presentation or conversation and just hope for the best. This works with varying degrees of success. Sometimes you pull it off, and everyone is none the wiser. Sometimes, though... you just end up looking like an idiot.

3. Occasionally, he just needs a push in the right direction.

None of us are perfect. We have all needed help at some point in our lives. It is absolutely impossible to get through life without help! Be it from family, friends, a teacher or that random guy who gave you a dollar one time, a little help goes a long way. Don't be afraid to ask for assistance next time you forget how to peck at seeds.

4. He's bone-tired after a long day.

If this isn't #relatable, then I don't know what is. It's honestly me every Friday afternoon. You just want to get home from school or work and collapse on the nearest piece of furniture. Normally, this is accompanied by feeling either relieved that the week is over or feeling despondent about all the things that you have to finish that weekend.

5. He's capable of growth.

Everyone can grow, whether they believe it or not. Throughout the movie, Heihei seems like nothing but, well... a dumb chicken. When it really matters, though, he pulls through and gives Moana the Heart of Tefiti instead of swallowing it like he's done with all the other rocks he'd encountered in the movie.

You're a different person than you were five years ago, and you'll probably be a different person five years in the future. You'll get through whatever's troubling you. If this chicken is capable of growth and learning, then you definitely are, too. You've gotten this far, haven't you?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
