Ways You Relate To Yzma From The Emperor's New Groove

Believe it or not, she is pretty relatable.

Ways You Relate To Yzma From The Emperor's New Groove

When people think of their favorite movies from childhood, there are always the "norms." However, when someone says something you loved but completely forgot about, you get really excited. Now, who remembers The Emperor's New Groove?

I had completely forgotten about this movie until recently. Thinking back, I remember finding it hilarious. Kuzco doesn't want to be a llama anymore (which Yzma accidentally made him instead of killing him) and wants to go back to being emperor, and Yzma and her sidekick Kronk essentially try to get rid of Kuzco and kill him so Yzma can take the throne. Crazy storyline, right?

If you remember, Yzma was this really odd looking character. She was old and not the most beautiful animated character you have ever seen. Some may say she was scary. I mean, she was the villain of the story.

Any who, she was pretty funny. So was Kronk, obviously. But, what I have recently come to terms with is that I am Yzma.

Honestly, if you watch the movie again, you can find scenes that would make you go, "Wow. That is so me."

But you don't have to go back and watch the movie because I am going to make a list right here for you. This is how you know that you have become this woman.

When you just can't handle certain people anymore.

'

When you just wanna be pretty so you will try anything and people judge you for it.

When you ask someone for something simple or ask a group member to do something and they don't do it.

When you sing or talk and it gets recorded and you listen back to it appalled.

When you are forced to be social and have fun, but you do not want to.

When some people just don't get it and you give up.

When you try to be intimidating but in reality you are far from it.

When you are just chilling and someone decides to bother you.

You vs. Me

When sometimes you just gotta ask.

When you have a good idea.

When you lose your temper.

When you're too lazy to get up and walk so you just ask people to carry you or get things for you.

When you try to act all sweet and nice to impress people.

When you feel like a kid.

When you are right about something and just feel the need to gloat.

When you are your best friend did something awesome.

When you are just full of surprises.

When you go from drab to fab.

When you are trying to act normal.

When you're high key pissed.

When you overthink everything and make it more complicated than it needs to be.

When someone wakes you up from your beauty sleep.

When you have to make an entrance.

When you wake up in the morning after a night out.

When you see a grey hair or wrinkles.

When someone is getting too close or is annoying you.

And finally, the classic line.

When you like to tell people what to do.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
