Ways that I make money without a job.

So as most of the readers...when school ends and summer begins I am broke. But my friends joke that I am the "loaded buddy". You see I think about ways to make money, without a job.

Rewards programs

These days companies are doing rewards programs. Reward programs are programs that reward you by giving you the customer something free for buying the company's product.

Nice right?

There are a number of reward program out in the world today.

My top three are...

Disneymovierewards.com

Kelloggsfamilyrewards.com

Mycokerewards.com

Recycle

We all have some type of plastic, cardboard or electric waste. Sorry to say it. We might also have one relative that would rather throw everything in the trash then to go through and recycle. Or maybe you know that one neighbor.

Well there are ways of recycling those things, and think off it you are helping Mother Earth, while getting some green for your self. So most stores that sell beer/soda are willing to recycle the bottles and give you cash as long as the bottle has your state on it as a refund state. In most states, there are stores that will pay for your cardboard. Most of these stores do paid by the pound. All you need to do is Google cardboard recycling and your zip code. When it comes to electric waste, you can sell it online or in person.

The top three online places to sell for me are...

Amazon.com

Gazelle.com

Usell.com

I sell my electric waste at theft stores in my area, or at Ecoatm. Ecoatms are located at most Walmarts. There might be in other stores in your area.

You can always Google to find others places online or in person.

There is also a website called Recyclebank.com where they give you points for reading articles on recycling.

Selling your old stuff

I know I have to must stuff, from going to campus events, library events to that "cool I need to have that" thing.

I am at the point in my life that I would rather seat on the couch and watch tv then to "window" shop. Yes, I am of the female spices. There are places that will pay for your old stuff as long as it is in good condition. Just google it or have a garage sell.

What I would like to say is "that there are ways out in this world to make money. Just do it legally, jail I heard is not a nice place". Also budget, budget and budget. Cause money is one of the things that make the world go around.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
