Nutrition and exercising are a big part of our lives on a daily basis. Sadly, some don't take it seriously. I have been into fitness on and off for years, but have been consistent lately. And I have noticed in myself and with the changes of my daily routines and how that my life has benefited from it. I would like to share the benefits to better health.

1. Reduces your dementia risk.

Dementia attacks the brain and causes memory loss and other things with it . Benefit to being active help our bodies avoid dementia. Dancing is one of them, due to the coordination and steps is another benefit. Dancing lowers the risk of getting dementia, especially the older you get .

2. Decreases your osteoporosis risk.

One factor to exercise, is the benefits it does to the bones and makes them stronger to live a long healthy life. Weight lifting is a favorite of mine and the impact to lift heavier weights is a benefit. The coordination and right form helps the muscles and prevents injuries.

3 .Relaxing boosts your memory.

Based on studies, being more active helps the brain and getting enough rest. Rest is a benefit of motivation to ourselves and improves our performance, whether in the gym or work activities.

4.Reduces stress, depression and anxiety.

Stress is common to the average teen. To an adult, depression can cause anxiety and drives a person away, not closer, to taking care of themselves. It can lead to health issues. The positive side to exercise is it builds confidence and increases body temperature, which helps to calm nerves in our system.

5.Reduces cancer risk.

I like to state that taking care of ourselves can reduce the risk of different types of cancer for example lung, colon and breast cancers with our physical activity and what we nourish into our bodies.

People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
