Yesterday, Harry Styles released his music video for his song "Watermelon Sugar", and it had fans feeling some type of way. I, for one, had been eagerly awaiting for this video since the single was dropped.
Harry had been seen filming a secret video at Malibu Beach back in January. This was that video.
Fans noticed many parallels and references in the "Watermelon Sugar" video:
1. The video opens with Harry sitting at a table with an orange tablecloth, a similar color to the boat in his "Adore You" video.

2. The blue glasses worn in the video were previously worn for his photoshoot for his 2019 cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

3. The filming location, Malibu, is a reference to One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" music video, released nine years ago.
4. In the video, people dance around and touch each other. This is a nod to Harry's video for "Lights Up".

5. The video concludes with a group photo, much like in his "Kiwi" video.

This video definitely brightened up my Monday in quarantine. It also reminded me that in a world divided, almost everyone agrees about one thing: Harry Styles.
