Water Contamination Is A Problem Today

Today there is a lot of water contamination going on in the world. I feel that at the point that we are going with the combination of trash, chemical, mineral the water in the future won’t be able to be used. The contamination of trash is one of the biggest problems in the ocean. Everywhere there is always trash in the ocean and nobody really cares about it. This is messed up because humans should care about our society and our environment. When humans neglect to see what is going on there are even more problems. The problems that are happening would are animals dying, the beaches having trash washing up on, it and boat motors breaking from all of the trash. This wouldn’t happen if humans put the trash where it belonged and if humans tried to find a way to get rid of the trash without destroying the environment and to prevent animal death.

The chemical contamination is a bigger issue than the trash because the trash doesn’t kill as much. There has been toxic waste dumped in certain areas all around the United States. This waste has either been dumped in a small body of water such as a lake, pond, creek and/or river or on a place on the ground. The waste being put in the water will affect all the animals in it along with the animals that drink from the water source. This can cause humans to get sick and could kill them because it could be a drinking source or bathing source. Additionally, depending on where it is there might be tribes that use the water for everything and could kill the whole tribe causing problems within the Native American part of society. The waste being dumped on a ground surface will cause it to sink in and cause that dirt to be unused. This can causes hardships since some people grow their own food and this won’t allow them to do so. This can also cause plants to be toxic and cause problems with wildlife that eat plants also the animals that live in the ground. This could cause death and/or hunger for both animals and humans.

I think that the mineral contamination is s equal to the trash academic going on. The biggest issue that happened here is the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. This happened because of the pipes that were under water cracked and started to let out oil a little at a time. All the time went by the pipe exploded, causing a lot of problems in the Gulf. This caused many animals to get covered in the oil and some ingest the oil causing them to die from it. When this happened, a lot of humans went and volunteered to clean up the beaches. They also helped clean the animals and for them to have a place to recover from what they experienced during the oil spill. Today there are still oil pockets washing up on the beaches but it doesn’t cause any problems anymore because of the small amount coming up. The company that caused the spill has been working to fix and prevent what would happen in the future for the oil business and how to change the way to get oil from one place to another place by a safer way to transport the oil. Hopefully this happens sooner or later for the oil company and this would help save the animals.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
