If you've been keeping up with pop culture news then you may be aware of the controversy surrounding the YouTuber PewDiePie. This vlogger, his real name is Felix Kjellberg, is being scrutinized in the media for his anti-semetic jokes. I, personally, do not take accuations of hate lightly. While I may not watch many vloggers, I am aware of the influence PewDiePie has on his viewers, especially with his large fan base. A person that has an influence on younger generations should never pretend as though a problem such as this one is not their own. He has Jewish viewers that are watching him tell someone to put up a sign that says "Death to all Jews." That is not a joke. Especially not in this world, where our history of hatred is so young and fresh. The problem is not even just that he made such a terrible mistake, it is that he's taking a Donald Trump stance on this. He wants to keep blaming the media for calling attention to the fact that he made an asshole decision.
