Pop superstar Sia has done it once again with her newest music video (starring Maddie Ziegler of Dance Moms, of course) titled "The Greatest" (feat. Kendrick Lamar).
The music video is dedicated to the 49 lives that were brutally taken in the Pulse Nightclub Shooting on June 12, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. "The Greatest" is the 5th music video starring Sia's protege Maddie Ziegler of Lifetime's Dance Moms and most recently as a judge on Season 13 of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance.
The video takes viewers on a journey from start to finish through the pain that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. With the help of 49 dancers and striking lyrics such as "I'm free to be the greatest - I'm alive." and "I'm running out of breath - but I got stamina."
"The Greatest" concludes with 49 dancers in a formation dancing to music and then all dropping to the floor, mirroring the similar situation at Pulse Nightclub. In the background, we see a wall with bullet holes that reminds us of the terror that occurred on June 12, 2016.
