Need something to watch this fall? Something that's exciting and dramatic? Something that's action packed? Or something that's sweet and cute? I got you covered. Here are the shows that you absolutely can't miss.
1. Scream Queens
This is the second season of Scream Queens, and if you don't know what it is... It's a show by the creators of American Horror Story, that's humorous and gory. Last season cast consisted of Leah Michelle, Nick Jonas, and Ariana Grande. Those are just a few of the members of the star studded cast. This season Taylor Lautner and also John Stamos (You might as well watch it for them, honestly) will be joining the cast. The last season the characters were at a college in a sorority being hunted down by 'The Red Devil' where some of the cast didn't make it. The second season will take place in a mental hospital where there are new mysteries, a new murder, and new plot twists. The show will make you laugh, and at some times cringe, but it's worth the watch.
P.S. it'll be bloodier and more gruesome this season. You have been warned.
2. Empire
Empire returned September 21st, and if you don't know... This is a show about music moguls and the family that runs one of the biggest companies. This show will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The show has guest stars constantly, and has musical moments. It's one of those shows that has you captivated from the first episode and makes you eager from next season. The show more detailed is about Cookie Lyons family, Cookie went to jail for a number of years to cover for her husband and to protect her family. She refused to snitch. When she comes out she finds things are a lot different than when she went in. Cookies kids are older, her husband remarried, and the company her and her husband started together is now thriving. The show is much more serious, dramatic, and interesting than I can describe.
3. Grey's Anatomy
If you haven't watched this show, watch it now. Start from season one and binge on this show right now! It's on the thirteenth season and every episode is touching, dramatic, and filled with everything a show should have! It's amazing. The first season is about Meredith Grey and her fellow interns as they attempt to become real surgeons. By season thirteen, many of the original cast, are now doctors but it still as interesting as ever. If you couldn't tell.. it's a medical drama, that will make you cry, will make you laugh, and will have you doing thirty second dance parties, and 'Dancing It Out', (Most Grey's Anatomy fans know the meanings of these) and they will have you looking for an individual who you can consider, 'Your Person' (Another Grey's Anatomy thing). Here's to hoping that this season will bring back a fan favorite.
4. How To Get Away With Murder
This show is about a bunch of law students who get the worse situations. The title of the show truly explains the life of these law students and their teacher. This show is full of suspense, and it's a little dark, and the storylines are very well thought out and developed. It's hard to talk about the show without giving it away, but every second of the show counts, and things that you don't understand one episode comes to light episodes later. You'll be yelling at your television wishing that it wouldn't end. Also some of the scenes will make you sweat, other scenes will make you cry, and most of the time you'll be asking yourself, 'Why?'.
5. MacGyver
This show is a reboot of the action packed show MacGyver. You may be wondering what this show is. I certainly was, I was simply enchanted by the commercial so let me tell you a bit about it. The story is about a young war hero, Angus "Mac" MacGyver, who solves the most impossible problems in an unconventional way, and an extensive bank of scientific knowledge that he believes can save lives. He creates an organization with the United States Government and takes on high risk missions and preventing disasters. This show somehow reminded me of Sherlock Holmes (despite the plots being completely different, I suppose the solving 'impossible problems unconventional was the real key) , so I reccommend watching this show this fall.
