Why You Should Watch HTGAWM On Netflix

Need a new Netflix show to binge watch? Trust me, this is not something to be embarrassed about. Everyone deserves to wind down at the end of the day and relax beside a show they enjoy. With that said, here is my referral! Give "How to Get Away With Murder" a shot! This four star show, has a killer story line that is so good it will keep you on the edge of your couch, and keep you coming back for more.

"How to Get Away With Murder"(HTGAWM) is a legal drama mystery television series first premiered on ABC in fall 2014. Violas Davis stars as Annalise Keating, a prestigious lawyer and law professor of Philadelphia University. She teaches a class called "How to Get Away With Murder". She chooses five of her law students to help with her cases who soon get caught in the midst of a murder plot of their own. As a viewer, you get to join them through their journeys in the classroom, the courtroom, and murder scenes.

Remember the well-loved actor Matt McGorry who plays the dreamy character John Bennett in "Orange Is the New Black?" Liza Weil, known for her roles in "ER," "Gilmore Girls," and "Scandal," plays the role of Bonnie Winterbottom, Annalise's right-hand man.Catch him in "HTGAWM" as quirky and corny but charming Asher Millstone. The other roles include as Billy Brown as Detective Nate Lahey, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Katie Findlay as Rebecca Sutter, Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt, Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo, and Charlie Weber as Frank Delfino.

What sets this show aside from other legal/mystery shows? Intertwined within these legal mysteries is romance. Watch as the characters begin to grow and transform with one another throughout the show. The end of season one will leave you in such jaw-dropping shock and you'll be mad you couldn't solve the murder mystery.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
