My latest obsession is "The Good Doctor." It comes on ABC. Season 2 is just about to start so I binged all 14 episodes of season 1 in a like a week. Here are my 7 reasons that you should totally watch the show.

1. Shaun Murphy is not your normal doctor.

Shaun Murphy played by Freddie Highmore is not a normal doctor. He is autistic and has savant syndrome so it makes for a very interesting combination. He's very smart but he doesn't always think before he speaks. I like to think of it as he lacks a brain-mouth filter.

2. Character development plays a big part in the first season.

At the beginning of the season, Dr. Melendez is a complete jerk and just horrible to Shaun. He tells him that so long as he's on his surgical team he will never do anything more than suction. Of course, Shaun had a witty comeback to throw him off guard. After Dr. Melendez sees how brilliant Dr. Murphy is he warms up to him.

3. Choices

This new show follows the journey of Dr. Shaun Murphy as he goes from surgical resident to hopefully Surgeon. Every episode Murphy is challenged and has to make a choice. sometimes it's a good one and other times it's a bad one. He learns lessons from all his choices whether they good or bad.

4. Relationships

What tv show isn't complete without the drama of relationships? Murphy doesn't have many relationships but the ones he does have are important to him. Making friends isn't easy. So when a love interest comes his way he'll do anything to keep it even if it means giving up his job. oops! you'll just have to watch and find out.

5. Acceptance of someone different.

Before getting to know Shaun Murphy the other doctors at the hospital think he's unqualified for the job. With his condition, they view him as a stereotype, judging him before they actually get to know who he is and what he's capable of doing. The other residence and lead doctors learn to understand him and accept his difference.

6. Intense moments

There are a lot of intense moments on this show most of which take place in the OR. In one episode the team of doctors has a heart surgery to do on a young boy from Africa. During surgery, a mistake happens but it turns out that the mistake was fortunate and saved the young boys life.

7. Cliffhangers

There are some episodes that end with the inevitable cliffhanger. Like why??? It leaves you wanting nothing more than to find out what happens next. I'm lucky in that I was able to binge them all at once but taking it one episode a week with next season is going to be tough.

This TV show isn't exactly family friendly but it is one hell of a show. Great plot and rich characters, its well worth the watch.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
