Who's excited to meet up with the most adorable honey-loving bear from the Hundred Acre Woods in August? I know I am! Originating from author A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh is one of the most beloved Disney characters and has a way not only to get honey, but to your heart. Do not forget his friends that make him the best Pooh he can be: Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, and Owl. In this film, it is guaranteed that Christopher Robin (portrayed by Ewan McGregor) reunites with Pooh (portrayed by Jim Cummings), and accepts the fact that they both need each other once more. Here are 3 reasons why you should watch the much anticipated August 2018 live-action film, "Christopher Robin."

1. If you are a Disney or Winnie the Pooh fan

If you are a loyal Disney fan, you should watch this film. I'm also a Disney fan. This film is an automatic yes to watch. At the same time, I am a Winnie the Pooh fan. I grew up watching and reading Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the Pooh and his friends were the best company to have in my childhood. Therefore, this film will be very nostalgic for me. In addition, I wonder what messages and quotes that Winnie the Pooh and his friends will share with us in this film. Moreover, this will be the first time that Winnie the Pooh and his friends to appear so real on the big screen. I am very extremely excited about that!

2. If you want to end the summer on a good note

Even though the film is going to be on screen at the beginning of August, this is one of the films that you can watch to end your summer. Due to the reason that August is the last month of summer vacation, people find it difficult to accept that their summer vacation is coming to a close. For that reason, some people do not know how to end their summer vacation on a good note. Therefore, I think that watching this film will become a memorable end to the summer of 2018.

3. If you are facing a problem in your life right now

Growing up is one of the toughest predicaments in our life. When growing up, sometimes things do not go as planned or there are problems that are always brewing up, no matter how hard you work. To be honest, I still feel stressed internally when growing up. I mean, who isn't? Or maybe you still feel lost somewhere or something about yourself. Or maybe you are at the point of giving up. I hope this film can give you the biggest and greatest comfort and encouragement. Perhaps deep inside, we really need a Winnie the Pooh in our lives to give back the courage and sense of life that we need, in order to go on with our reality happily.

I haven't watched the film yet, but once it comes out, I will immediately go watch it. Just by looking at the trailers, it seems like it's worth the golden summer and time. If one thing's for certain, it's that Winnie the Pooh teaches us that he will always be there for us, no matter the circumstances.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
