If you grew up at any point between 1993-2000, then you should at least have heard of the classic '90's show "Boy Meets World."
I remember seeing episodes on ABC Family while I was getting ready for school in the mornings. Various school supplies swirling around Cory Matthew's head is an image I'll always have of the show's opening theme.
Regardless if you've seen original episodes or caught some reruns, there are a ton of reasons why you should watch "Boy Meets World."
Wise words from Mr. Feeny
He was the only teacher who stuck with the gang from middle school all the way until they graduated college. He was always there whenever Cory, Topanga, Shawn or Eric needed some help or good advice. Who wouldn't want a teacher like him?
Topanga's feminism
While she wasn't labelled a feminist on the show, she was certainly one of the first characters on TV to stand up for women everywhere. That makes her pretty cool.
Shawn and Cory's friendship/bromance
I swear, sometimes these guys were in more of a relationship than Cory and Topanga. Their loyalty and ability to be goofy with one another really balanced out the more serious or dark moments of the show.
Cory and Topanga's relationship
Admit it: you wanted to be Topanga too. I mean, how could you not want a guy like Cory. They were the cutest and most perfect couple to exist in the world of 90's TV. Period, end of story.
The 'Feeny Call'
I couldn't not include this. I don't even remember when it started, but when it did, it always stuck. And it was hilarious.
Cory's hair
11 year old Ben Savage was a little curly haired cutie.
And Topanga's.
Total 90's school/party/prom inspiration. Heck, people still wanna know how Danielle Fishel has all that hair!
Being unapologetic about the way you look.
You tell it, Topanga. #PizzaForTheWin
Cory's funny moments
From screaming and sarcastic remarks, he always had something to do or say in awkward or freaky situations.
And Eric's.
His comedic moments added so much fun to the show.
This reminder about trusting the timing of life.
This statement is beautiful. Topanga was so intelligent when it came to matters of the heart and mind.
Eric's sole moment of genius.
Who knew he had some good advice about change in that girl-obsessed brain of his?
And finally, Cory summing up the daily struggle that anyone can relate to:
Thank you Mr. Matthews. We're all a little confused sometimes, right?
