For some strange reason, Bee Movie is popular again. Actually, not again. Again would imply that people liked it when the movie first came out. For some reason, 9 years after the film's creation, Bee Movie has become popular. So, I'm going to cash in on explore this phenomenon by watching Bee Movie five times in a row and recording my thoughts on it. Well, here we go:
Watch #1-
Well, that movie was really bad. I don't remember it being that weird when I was a kid. Why was it a legal drama? Why did that woman want to have sex with a bee? I'm not looking forward to my next watch of this.
Watch #2-
The message for this film is kind of disturbing when you think about it. They compare humans using bees for honey to slavery. First off....no, just no. Secondly, they then later have the moral that the bees are actually needed by humans for honey and should keep doing it. Did Jerry Seinfeld write a pro-slavery message in this film? What the hell is wrong with him?
Watch #3-
You know, the film is actually growing on me now. It's the bee puns, I think. They're winning me over. Oh God, what am I saying? I feel like I'm being brainwashed or something.
Watch #4-
I can't bee-lieve the cinematic master-bees that is Bee Movie. It really stings that critics would swarm this film with hate. Hi've got to hand it to Jerry Seinfeld for comb-ing the material for every pun he could. I'll stop bumbling around.
