So What's The Truth

Was Melania's Interview Enough to Cover Trump
Donald and Melania

In light of the release of the ever growing controversial locker room video in which Billy Bush and Donald Trump are discovered engaging in lewd conversation that degrades the worth of women, Melania Trump emerges to defend her husband in saying that he has offered her an apology for those horrible remarks that he made in a setting that he described as equivalent to "locker room banter." But here's the issue: Trump went on record to say that he does not have any record of attesting to make any apologies to his wife.

I could not help but to think that if Trump does still contain the ideologies that he's expressed in the video, claims which were added onto when several different women began to emerge into the spotlight to say that Trump has sexually harassed them in the past, Melania is in a toxic relationship in which she is doing no justice to herself nor her family. While I am in agreement with the ideal that living in the spotlight makes life a little difficult because everything you do or say can and will be criticized this wasn't just some casual speech that Trump and Bush were engaged in. Their ideologies are reflective of just how little respect Trump has for women both now and in the present date and it just goes to show you how much people in America value women as well.

One would think that support for Trump would dwindle massively as there is visual evidence that he views women as sexual objects but the American people are essentially providing him a pardon and saying that his speech was not so bad when they inadvertently fail to take a stance on what he said and condone his overlook his actions. Men and women alike need to stop regarding women as the subordinate and adjust their sentiments that they truly start to believe for themselves that we are their equal counterparts. In addition, it is just as important for women to make their worth known and make it a practice to celebrate themselves.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
