I Want You Every Day Of The Week

I want you on Monday. I want you on the day of the week that seems to be the longest, where we both drag on with our busy schedules. When you have a late class and I start on all of my work for week and we can't wait to finish our day together.

I want you on Tuesday. I want you on day that I'm the busiest, but I can't wait to come home to you at the end of the day. After a stressful school day, you are the one I want to see to brighten up my probably-crabby mood. I want to plop down on the couch next to you and just relax.

I want you on Wednesday. I want you in the middle of the week, where it's not yet the weekend, but not the slow beginning anymore. It is the day of the week where we're able to sit down on your front porch and watch the sunset behind the mountains once the day is coming to an end.

I want you on Thursday. I want you on the day that typically people go out, but we like to stay in. Let's get some ice cream, watch a few episodes of our shows on Netflix and get ready for the weekend.

I want you on Friday. I want to finish my classes at noon and just run to you to start our weekend. I want to plan out what we're gonna do and just be glad to spend this time together.

I want you on Saturday. I want you on the best day of the week, where we have no worries or stress of the week ahead. Where we can do whatever we'd like or go wherever we please. This is the day that we get to spend completely together and not have a care in the world.

I want you on Sunday. I want you on the last day of the weekend, where we might have to finish up work for the upcoming week but still have time to relax. The day that we can still sleep in, wake up and make pancakes. We can finish up the last minute things that we procrastinated on and then do nothing in preparation for the week ahead.

I want you every day of the week. I want all of you and I want to spend all of my time with you. You make me the happiest and I couldn't imagine spending my week with anyone else.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
