Ever since I was little I've always loved the time of the knights and the swordsmen. It's a crazy, bloodthirsty time in the world and man does it sound kind of awesome. Before we had anything that was fabricated we had to forge our own weapons and each of them was our own. We fetched our own wood and crafted our first snipers and created our own ammunition and fired away at our enemies and that has always been of interest to me. My latest article was on Runescape and that game has held me in because it's one game that really captures that moment with swords and the trading that used to be and the craftsmanship, but also the fantasy that was encompassed within that time as well.

I did a report back in the fifth grade about knights and ninjas and their weaponry and it was awesome. I used my favorite game at the time, Runescape, as an example and base for my knight paper. It wasn't anything crazy but it was something that I wanted to do in school that finally didn't feel like work and that I can actually be motivated to do. Mostly men had forged blades of all different shapes and sizes and for different purposes. Tools! Weapons! These blacksmiths were mostly men and talented individuals who took metal and made it useful, and the creativity and time took to make these things are truly breathtaking. I'd highly suggest watching someone do it in person. They won't finish the product, but to see the process is a stellar experience.

I personally own about three swords and one crafty machete that I adore dearly. My very first sword was a katana with a black hilt and thick red yard wrapped around the hilt. It rests in a wooden sheath that is all black as well. When I first got it I was amazed that I finally own a sword years after obsessing over these type of things. My other blade isn't much different in design as it's just another katana. As for my third sword, it's a short sword with a study cloth sheath, black hilt, and a short blade that is fairly thick. I've played with all these swords when I'm alone. Attempting tricks and just spinning them around attempting not to lose my head or any other important limbs, and so far five years after owning my first one I haven't lost anything. My machete is my favorite at the moment. It holds an exotic cut out of the blade with neon green words on it reading ' Zombie Killer ' and a black hilt with thick neon green yard wrapped around it also.

I'm going to work on getting some more swords and go out to a shooting range to try my hands at a bow and arrow. I want one of my own that I can actually shoot. Could anyone imagine? A man shot to death in a man's home today after a burglary happened earlier this morning. This burglar wasn't expecting to find anyone in the home, nor was he expecting two arrows through his body. More on this story in a moment...That would be hilarious. An interesting way to defend my home right? Call me the male version of Kill Bill. How about the real Afro-Samurai?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
