Things To Do While Waiting In Line At Dunkin

Making the wait for your morning coffee somewhat bearable.

You're just getting into the groove. It's the second week of classes, and you are surprisingly early for your 11am (or 8am for some unlucky souls). So, you rush over to Dunkin because, let's be honest, it's necessary. You're feeling great, ready to get that caffeine in your system and to start your day. But, wait! The line is longer than the wait for Frank Ocean’s album. Do not let this ruin your day. Here are some suggestions of things to do while you impatiently wait for your morning coffee.

1. Make a friend

This is the least likely, but I figured I would put it first because it's always good to encourage new friendships.

2. Watch Netflix

I've been there. I once watched almost half of a Grey's Anatomy episode while waiting for my coffee.

3. Plan out how you're going to get rich

Whether it be vlogging, blogging, or taking the world by storm with your insane dance moves, waiting in line is a great time to plan out how you're going to drop out of SHU to lead a life of luxury.

4. FaceTime your pet

This is real, I saw it on Facebook. I've never tried it, but I'm sure it's great.

5. Listen to music and relax

You've got a long day ahead of you. Take this time to listen to your favorite album and shut your mind off.

The time has come. You place your order. Your number is called. That first sip restores your faith in the world and you are ready to start your day. It's a shame that the second you step foot into class all of your good spirits will be crushed.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
