Love is a word that has changed drastically over time, and will only continue to change. Relationships aren't what they used to be, and are not lasting as long as they should, in some cases. This is either for the reason that people don't take love seriously anymore, or because the two people were not meant for one another. People often find themselves falling for the wrong one, and aren't sure why it keeps happening to them. The constant question of 'Will I ever find my other half?', lingers in individuals brains for centuries.

People wonder if it's them, or if their standards are set too high. Love is tough, but I am here to tell those people the answer is No. No it is not you, and no your standards are not too high. The higher your standards, the more likely you are to find the one person you will spend your life with. You can no longer look for the person that seems to be dating material, but instead, the person that is life material. Just continue to wait it out because, I promise, that person is out there.

Here is a little help and insight on the person you should keep your eye out for:

... Will make you laugh

... Annoys the heck out of you

... Has the same respect for you as they do their mother

... Understands ice cream is a food group

... Drives around aimlessly with you, because you're just in one of those moods

... Can tolerate you at your worst

... Understands the importance of family

... Never lets you forget how special you are

... Always gives you a reason to smile, even if you aren't physically with them

... Isn't embarrassed to bring you around their friends

... Is kind and compassionate

... Isn't afraid to tell you no

... Constantly motivates and supports you

... Won't play with your heart

... Doesn't care if you ditch them to hang out with your dog

... Is not only selfless, but also a little bit selfish

... Hasn't given you a reason not to trust them

... You can be a complete fool with

... Is also your best friend

...You think is right

... Is worth the wait.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
