Now I'm not politician, but I am smart, and I am an informed college educated citizen. So yes, I voted for her, but I think he will be great. Surprising? Clinton's policies matched with a lot of mine, and she gave me the knowledge that a woman can be a leader, not only in politics but in business, medicine, science and technology. She was overqualified, and I chose not to believe the lies said about her. So I voted. I knew from the beginning that this would be neck to neck. And although Hillary won the popular vote, Donald Trump won the electoral votes (not rigged anymore, huh?)

For the past 16 years, we have all been in pain. Last nights election, caused our pain to explode. For the past 16 years, the American people have been angry, and their voices were not being heard. But a vote to Donald Trump doesn't mean a vote against love and compassion. It doesn't mean a vote against LGBTQ, Muslims, Women or Mexicans. I am accepting Donald Trump as my president with an open mind. Watching the election, my stress levels went through the roof, and I thought I was going to give myself cancer with all the anxiety I felt. I think we can all relate that we felt physically ill. I am not going to allow some of the nasty mean Trump voters, define who my president is. Now not all Trump voters are this way, but this is who he has attracted. And now Clinton voters are protesting, and bringing out the hate and anger within themselves. He campaigned to appeal to a specific characteristic of voters, and to win the hearts of the bible bell states and I now have faith that he will bring forth his true agenda - To Make America Great Again. I pray to God, that I was wrong about Donald Trump. I pray to God, that the media was wrong about Donald Trump. I hope that he isn't the way they shaped his image to become. I hope that he proves me, and half of America wrong!

First of all, we have checks and balances, thank the Lord. He won't ban abortion completely, and gay marriage won't be illegal. He won't kick out any Muslims that are here in America as US citizens and neither will he kick out Mexican-Americans. I cannot find myself to come up with an excuse for him as to why he'd mock a disabled reporter on live television or claim that he'd shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose voters. I dont wan't to find an excuse. I believe Donald J. Trump needs to address his people. As our future leader of the Free World, he needs to stand up on a podium, and address his people, apologize and assure us that he is for ALL of us. He needs to travel and communicate with LGBTQ, Muslim, Mexican, Female, and disabled communities, and address them directly. He needs to unite us, not just by telling us to, but by doing so himself. He is now our leader. If he does this, I will fully respect him as my president. He 100% will not build a wall either, as funny of a meme that would be. Its in his 100 day plan, but most likely wont happen. And I dont think American's will allow their tax money to go towards a wall. I decided to put my emotions aside, and read up on Donald's policies and opinions that wasn't obvious during his campaign and debates. He did this on purpose, as he didn't want to lose voters by yelling and shouting all his policies he has in mind. So he said "you'll see".

So far, in his 100 day plan, he has no plan for reproductive and LGBTQ rights, but that makes sense. So I will focus on talking about those issues. Thats not his main priority, meaning that he wont touch the laws Obama put in place for a WHILE. And Obama just announced that he is working on a plan to make the funding of planned parenthood permanent because we all know planned parenthood doesn't just abort babies. In fact, if you took abortion away from planned parenthood, you realize thats not all they do. Take it away, and planned parenthood actually benefits women extensively, providing healthcare and cancer screenings for all women. Other issues he has addressed, are in his 100 day plan which is in the link above.

For immigration, all Donald wants is to put Americans first. He wants to stop illegal immigration, and welcome those that accept our way of life. Do not be afraid if you are Mexican or Muslim. If you are a US citizen, Trump stands behind you. Or at least thats the vibe I get. And this is coming from a girl whose parents immigrated from a middle eastern country. My parents learned to accept the western way of life 40 + years ago, and we are so passionately in-love with America. If you love America, and you are a US law abiding hard working Citizen, then don't be afraid. As for illegal immigrants, although his plan states that he will just send illegals back to where they came from, that in itself is impossible to do all at once. Children who are US citizens but their parents are illegal, poses the real problem we have, facing illegal immigration. I think Trump knows this and isn't stupid. I support those families and hope that Trump comes up with a moral plan to deal with this. Immigrants come to America selflessly, to give their future baby girls and boys a better life, just as my parents did. We should not attack them, as we are a country built off immigrants. This immigration issue is for people that come here illegally, or our massive refugee crisis that has left us clueless on how to proceed forward, with the terrorism that has infected our world today.

His plan on reproductive rights for women are unknown, even though he stated he is pro-life. He believes abortion is wrong unless you've been raped, a part of incest, or if the mothers life is threatened. I dont think any human being on this earth thinks late term abortion is OK, but I do believe that you should have the right to choose abortion as soon as you know if your child is genetically, physically and mentally incompatible with life. As in your child with have pain and suffer and not live for only a few days. We do not understand the pains and horrors of a mother who decides to abort her child. If Trump does propose any reproductive restriction, I believe it would be a limit on the amount of abortions a woman has, or that a woman cannot just accidentally get pregnant with her boyfriend and choose to abort because she didn't want to take responsibility. We as woman should feel safe, and if at any moment we feel our reproductive health is being threatened, we have freedom of speech. We can speak out

He thinks gay marriage should be a state issue. I dont need to have gay family members or friends, to feel strongly about this. I dont believe we should treat LGBTQ differently. I do believe that we should give them the same rights as anyone else. I don't know if he would be able to "repeal" legalized gay marriage.

I completely think his environmental and energy plans are horrifying. Somebody please talk some sense into him! No further comment.

Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama all congratulated and offered President Elect Trump to work hand in hand, so I am hopeful our future will be big and it will be bright! I am optimistic that the plans that half of America may not agree with, will improve because of the people Trump will surround himself with. And I believe Trump needs to address his future people, and be a positive example of what a president should do, when his people are in pain. Because right now, all of Americans are in pain, and half of them are scared of Trump. Only Trump can change that. He needs to address and comfort his people, to assure them that he is for ALL of us.

Tomorrow the sun will rise again! - President Barack Obama, the greatest man on earth. No matter what side we voted for, we all want the same thing, a better greater America for our future baby girls and boys! #MAGA #IMWITHHER #IMWITHHIMTOO #LETSGETITTOGETHER

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!
